“For Sale: 1941 Willys Coupe Street Rod. You are looking at a custom 41 Willys Coupe with 4,200 mi. that is finished and ready to cruise and have fun. It has a modern drivetrain including a 5.3L Vortec motor with electronic fuel injection, a 4L60E transmission and a Ford 9 inch rear end with 2.73 gears This combination is great for a street rod as it provides plenty of torque and power plus good fuel economy.
I’ve spent 4 years on the build and refinements resulting in a Willys that runs, drives and handles very well. The paint and upholstery were professionally done adding some nice finishing touches to the ride. This is not a trailer queen, show car, but it does present itself very well as I have won trophies for “people’s choice” awards. I’m ready for another project, but unfortunately, the Willys must go to afford it.

“I’ve owned this car for some time and don’t use it. From the pictures you’ll see that the seat upholstery is shot. The paint is pretty good. It’s an old repaint. Although they’re not original, the running boards look nice. It’s never been restored but everything works. In the past 10 years I’ve replaced the tires with new ones from Coker Tire. I’ve also had the rear spokes replaced by Calimer’s Wheel Shop. It runs well and everything works. There is no top. I have some top frames and the clips that hold the top to the windshield frame. I have a few extra parts. It’s time to send it to a home where it gets as much love and more exercise. Email me for my contact information.”

Considering serious cash offers on a 1922 Willys Overland Touring Model 4A that I acquired recently. I tend to favor 1940’s-1960’s GM classics, but when I saw this prewar beauty sitting on jack stands in a garage I had to bring it home. I wanted to bring it back to life as best I could. I read numerous articles about the company roots, it’s evolution into bigger companies and their legacy. These classics are admired all around the world. There is even an organization, Willys-Overland-Knight-Registry or WOKR, that keeps historical data on these vehicles, its owners and active online forums. They are a Godsend when you’re looking for answers about these cars and how to articles.

“All parts off of a 1953 Willys Aero Ace coupe from North Dakota. Parked since 1968, in a machine shed for most of the time since. Bought it for a Gasser project. Time for all the parts to go that I’m not going to use. They are taking up space and they have to go (sorry, no glass). I labeled and bagged most of the smalls when I took the car apart.
