1941 American Bantam Convertible York, SC $10,850

Looks like a solid foundation.

“American Bantam with Title
Original engine, tranny, suspension gone for many years.
Included with sale is engine, tranny, rear suspension from a Toyota Starlet and front suspension form a Renault. Though many modernization combinations could work, we felt this was one of the best for reliability and practicality.
Shows 8350 miles – true mileage unknown, but this body looks so good that this could be the real mileage.
It has been resprayed, but no evidence of any major wreck damage.
Slight rust bleed through lower front lip drivers door.
Five original wheels included.

1930 Austin Bantam Inland Empire, CA **Status Unknown**

UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $10,000.

Has some updates.

“This 1930 Austin Bantam has been upgraded with a new frame (I still have the original frame and will include it with purchase). The front end is narrowed Corvair suspension. The rear end is a narrowed 8″ Ford rear end. It has a Datsun engine that is quiet and runs great, but the engine smokes badly. The car smokes bad enough that it will need to be towed.
This 1930 Austin Bantam is in great condition inside and out. The car was restored a few years ago and the body work, paint, and interior is in great restored condition.”
