“Because of my desire for a Corvette or Street Rod; I’m putting my Willys up for sale! This 91 year old car is beautiful and I don’t need to sell it, but I do want something else now. The car runs and drives; of course and is totally rust free. There are a few scratches in the paint but nothing that really takes away from the car. The oogha horn is not working at this time and I’ll try to have that fixed or replaced soon; no promises! This rare car was manufactured in Toledo OH with the first model rolling off the line in 1927! Yes; this is the first year of the Whippet! They continued to produce the Whippet until the last model rolled off the line in 1931. Continue reading “1927 Willys Whippet Janesville, WI $12,500”

Chevy Turbo 350 automatic transmission coupled with 8″ ford Posi rear end completes the drive-train. Old school front axle, Drum brakes front and rear with adjustable coil-over shocks. Electric cooling fan and custom radiator ensure this car runs cool even in the hottest weather. Dual exhaust with chrome-tipped tail pipes looks and sounds great! It starts and runs like a champ and is a tons of fun to drive around town or maybe in a parade. The 15″ tires on old school style mag. Engine runs great, car drives, rack and pinion with power steering and brakes. All lights and blinkers work. Front end is sketchy, the car needs shocks and the tires are square. A real head turner.”

“What we have here for your review is a 1929 Willys-Overland Whippet. This Gem has been sitting stored inside for the last 30-40 years! My family purchased this from a gentleman who drove this car but then disassembled it with the intentions of a full restoration. It has been sitting waiting for you!
Although mostly disassembled, it is still in pristine condition for being 89 years old! Add this beauty to your collection and have a piece of the Roaring 20’s!
Comes with a title!
As is condition, some parts missing, only able to find one of the rear fenders, steering column missing, left running board missing, possible other parts as well, but a good start towards your restoration.”
