Suspension: Front – Mustang II independent suspension, rack and pinion steering and disc brakes
Rear – Leaf Spring supporting a Ford 8.8″ rear end with drum brakes
Engine: 355 c.i. Small-block Chevy – 4 bolt main (bored 30 over)
Forged steal crank, forged steal connecting rods, 10.5:1 flat top pistons, 290 Competition Cam kit (duel roller timing chain, hydraulic lifters, push rods, and valve springs), 2.02″/1.60″ “Fuelie” heads with 7/16″ valve studs, pushrod guides plates, 1.7″ Crane Gold anodized full roller rocker arms, Edelbrock Tunnel Ram intake manifold kit (twin Weber 500 c.f.m. and throttle linkages). Ignition is a Mallory Unilite Distributor, Mallory Hyfire capacitive discharge ignition, and a Mallory Promaster classic series coil.
