The 1938 Willys-Overland was known as the model 38. It was produced by Willys-Overland Motors, an American automobile company based in Toledo, Ohio. Body: Original steal body with fiberglass fenders

Body work professionally done. Body, frame and engine painted “Hot Rod Red”. New baffled gas tank, Vintage VDO gauge set, Power windows, power trunk lid, tilt column, Ron Francis wiring harness, Vintage Air A/C and heat system, Walker 4 core radiator, and much, much more.

Frame: Boxed, original steal

Suspension: Front – Mustang II independent suspension, rack and pinion steering and disc brakes
Rear – Leaf Spring supporting a Ford 8.8″ rear end with drum brakes

Engine: 355 c.i. Small-block Chevy – 4 bolt main (bored 30 over)

Forged steal crank, forged steal connecting rods, 10.5:1 flat top pistons, 290 Competition Cam kit (duel roller timing chain, hydraulic lifters, push rods, and valve springs), 2.02″/1.60″ “Fuelie” heads with 7/16″ valve studs, pushrod guides plates, 1.7″ Crane Gold anodized full roller rocker arms, Edelbrock Tunnel Ram intake manifold kit (twin Weber 500 c.f.m. and throttle linkages). Ignition is a Mallory Unilite Distributor, Mallory Hyfire capacitive discharge ignition, and a Mallory Promaster classic series coil.
